PDF (270KB)Abstract
Doddington Court, with its striking brickwork structure, is both fascinating and amusing in the way it merges various architectural aspects. While the design respects the privacy of the inhabitants one cannot help noticing the skilled craftsmanship and solid durability throughout. Details in the decoration differ in character but are integrated with fine judgement. The building as a whole is charming: elements of style are fused into a unique synthesis and traces of the human touch are refreshing in a technological era.
